PADI Twin Set Diver

The Twin Set Diver Speciality course

The Twin Set Diver Speciality course familiarises divers with the skills, knowledge, planning,  configuration, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and benefits of diving with twin SCUBA cylinders.

The Twin Set Diver speciality course is intended to serve as a  safe, supervised introduction to recreational diving with dual SCUBA cylinders. This qualification will not qualify you to make technical dives, but will prepare you for the highly challenging  tecrec range of courses including the PADI Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50.

What do I need to start?

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
  • Minimum of 20 logged dives with experience in Deep and Navigation dives
  • Minimum age: 15 years old
  • The course will count towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating

What will I do?

You will have a theory session, one confined water dive and 2 open water dives to a maximum depth of  30m.

You will develop knowledge of twin set diving including the features, benefits and maintenance of twin set diving as well as  learning how to perform important twin set safety skills.

Finally you will learn to plan, organise and conduct safe dives using a Twin Set

What do I need and what is the cost?

Twin sets are supplied for the course through Island Divers so all you need to do is give us a call. If you require any other SCUBA Equipment, you can hire this through Island Divers!

Course Fee £225.00

* Please note, all courses are valid for 12 months from day of purchase.

Site entrance fee: There is a fee for open water dives requiring entry to an inland dive site, payable daily by the student. Any boat costs if relevant, will be agreed prior to the course.

For a small extra cost, you can also purchase the Tec Deep student pack which will give you more insight to your next level.
