What do I need to start?

Before your course starts you will be provided with the PADI Open Water Diver Course materials. You will need to read this and complete the knowledge reviews and quick quizzes. Once you have finished we will invite you into the dive centre to review the knowledge development sections with your instructor. We will also give you the final exam to complete on this day.

What will I do?

Next step is to join your instructor in the pool for 5 confined water dives. These can usually be completed in 3 x 2 hour pool sessions. You will learn all of the skills to enable you to start diving in the open water with an instructor on your holiday!

Whilst on holiday you will need to complete the 4 open water dives with an instructor in order to gain your PADI Open Water Diver Course certification. This will allow you to dive anywhere in the world, with a buddy, up to 18m!

We regularly offer dive trips abroad and in the UK accompanied by our PADI Professionals. You are welcome to book the open water dives on one of these trips with us! See our Dive Trips page to join our fun group of like minded divers! Non diving partners are welcome to join the trips too.
